Ok, lets set the scene. The film "The Hitcher" is nearly ending, and John Ryder is still alive, having been caught alive by the police. However, while he was being transported to the nearest high security prison/lunatic asylum, he manages to break free of his restraints and kill the three policemen in the van.
While this is taking place, Grace Andrews, female victim of Ryder's sustained attacks throughout the film, is sitting in the SUV trailing behind the Ryder's prison van, with Lieutenant Esteridge. She is being taken to a psychiatric hospital, as Ryder had earlier killed her boyfriend, Jim Halsey, tearing him in half between two lorries. You don't get through that sort of trauma without a few sessions on the psychiatrist's couch.
All of a sudden, an oncoming Chevrolet El Camino crashes into the van and then into the SUV. Grace, regains her senses quickly, and looks around for Estheridge's gun. Grabbing it, she slowly makes her way to the prison van. As Grace opens the back door, Ryder grabs the gun off of her and locks her in the back of the prison van. Ryder then notices the large pool of gasoline collecting under the van, so he shoots it and walks away.
Grace manages to retrieve a shotgun from the van and escape just before it explodes. Ryder has not noticed this, as he is walking up to Estheridge, who tells him to go fuck himself. Ryder casually shoots Estheridge when he becomes aware of Grace behind him.
He looks unconcerned though, as he doesn't believe she has the bottle to kill someone, but he could not be more wrong, as while he walks away, Grace shoots him twice in the back with the shotgun. His vest catches the bullets until he falls to his knees. He smiles weakly and asks Grace "It feels good, doesn't it?". Grace answers "I don't feel a thing". She then pulls the trigger, splashing his brains across the road, before dropping the gun and walking off into the sunset.
This movie is different from the actual film. Terrible remake.
This movie is different from the actual film. Terrible remake.
Shouldn't it be original film, since they both are kind of actual films...
Little typo: shoots hi
Shot is also needed since he took a shotgun wound to the back.
Yeah, I meant original.
go into an argument on another site about this, but since he was unarmed and on his knees, shouldn't execution count?
go into an argument on another site about this, but since he was unarmed and on his knees, shouldn't execution count?
Just keeping "Revenge" would be better I'd say, she didn't have a real reason to kill Ryder (She'd be saying something about justice probably if execution were to count).
