Xenia Onatopp follows a long line of Bond vixens that are given a connotational name. Her modus operandi is crushing men to death by wrapping her thighs around them. Onatopp’s death comes just after Bond’s plane is shot down in Cuba. Surveying the wreckage, Onatopp abseils down from a helicopter to attack Bond, who has just survived a plane crash. After a playful bit of face licking, she gets down to business and begins to crush Bond with her thighs.

However, this time Bond is having none of it. He clips her in to her abseil rope, and with a loose Kalashnikov fires a few rounds at the helicopter.

These rounds kill the pilot who crashes the helicopter, and in the process catapults Xenia back into the groove of a "Y" shaped tree, where the immense forces crush the life out of her.

One of the most attractive women I've ever seen on a movie screen, and definitely one of the most attractive Bond girls ever. Althought I would have liked to see more of her "modus operandi," but beggars can't be choosers, eh?
Couldn't this also be asphyxiated since it was the constriction of the rope around her stomach that suffocated her?
This is one of the most conflicted causes of death in the database.
True. People have also come up with things like the rope strangling her (which it clearly isn't around her neck), or her neck snapping (which would have paralyzed her and she's clearly moving as she writhes about). The fact that the rope was clipped to the belt around her waist is what makes me think it basically crushed her abdomen causing asphyxiation.
"Compressive Asphyxiation" is actually classed as being "Crushed" in our database.
I've now updated the definition to make that clear:
then bond wise cracks at the end saying, "she always did enjoy a good squeeze."
and yes, she is a very attrative bond woman, probably imo the hottest one of all.
