Computer geek Grischenko is trying to hack back in to the Goldeneye satellite with his computer, before the base is blown to bits.

One particularly violent explosion leaves Boris cowering under his desk. Lucky to survive, Boris peeps out and with an expression of elation he yells out "I'm invincible!".

Like all helpdesk support, Boris is prepared to risk his life to ensure that the glitch in the Goldeneye software is resolved

Tempting fate like this is a particularly unwise thing to do and sure enough, seconds later, the huge vats of liquid nitrogen shatter covering poor Boris with their contents, freezing him in his amusing celebratory pose.

A necessary feature of every megalomaniac's lair; the large vats of unecessarily dangerous chemicals / Alan Cumming freezes in front of the camera

Boris is an amusing little weasel that gets his comeuppance in a nicely comic way. Not too gruesome or painful, but it is indeed appropriate.

By the way, Mr. Mouseburger, is your name based on Paul Newman's character in The Hudsucker Proxy?

Note from Mouseburger: I have not seen The hudsuccker proxy, is there a mouseburger in it? the name relates to a story i read as a child about a fast food chain accidentally serving up a mouse in a bun as opposed to a cheeseburger.

Gotta double-stitch those pants, gotta pad my account.

Wouldn't "tempting fate" be appropriate as well? you can't really say EEEYESSS EYE AHM EENVEENSEEBUHLLLL!!! in a movie without SOMETHING happening can you?

Since I didn't get confirmation of denial on my last suggestion, I thought I would bump this back up just in case.

Wouldn't this also be a tad ironic. He says he's invincible and then dies...

"Tempting Fate" is just a kind of irony in itself, besides, "Irony" is already overflowing!

Not bad considering the description...

As most films in our database are American, this is a predictably rare category. However, some deaths are unintentionally ironic and they will be listed here as well.
Ironic in itself!
