The newly-resurrected Jason has just been guided to Elm Street by Freddy to incite enough fear to regain his power. And to get things started off, Freddy has Jason begin the massacre on a few teens at the house he used to live in, in order to make the town believe he has returned.

Lori, the current occupant of Freddy's old house, has some friends over for a party and soon the boyfriend of one of her friends (Gibb (q.v.)) comes over with his friend and it is not long before two rules of the horror genre are broken; under-age drinking and sex.

Gibb's boyfriend, Trey, is a self-centered, rather controlling and abusive jerk who constantly belittles Gibb and threatens in a menacing tone "don't make me ask you twice, babe..." when he wants sex and as she is afraid of him, she doesn't.

After sex, Gibb has gone to take a shower while Trey remains in the bedroom until she returns. Reaching over for his beer, he is unaware Jason has sneaked in to the house and is now standing over him. When he rolls over and sees him, Trey quickly attempts to get away, but Jason is too quick for him, and begins stabbing him numerous times through the back, his machete going in deep enough to penetrate all the way through the bed.

Jason finishes the job by grabbing both ends of the bed and folding them together, snapping Tray in half and indirectly putting an abrupt end to Gibb's unhealthy relationship.
