Lori's alcoholic friend Gibb has drunk a little too much at the bonfire party and wanders off into the cornfield where she quickly passes out, and falls into one of Freddy's nightmares.

Gibb sees what looks like her boyfriend Trey (q.v.) nearby. He yells at her to follow him, with his familiar threat "don't make me ask you twice!" What she doesn't see is the hatted figure behind Trey moving him like a human puppet.

Gibb follows him to an old barn, but the interior more resembles a boiler room, where she finds Freddy waiting for her and he promptly traps her inside, leaving her with no choice but to run.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, a raver has found Gibb's unconscious form and begins to date rape her. And not too far off, Jason, who has wandered over to the bonfire party, has spotted them and snaps a large piece of a thin metal pole from some farm equipment...

Gibb, still trapped in her nightmare, attempts to hide in the lockers, but it isn't long till Freddy finds her. However, just as Freddy prepares his coup de grace, a huge hole appears in Gibb's chest, as if she'd just been impaled by some invisible weapon, and she slumps lifelessly to the floor.

Back in the real world, we see Jason has used the pole he acquired earlier to impale the would-be rapist and Gibb, who was right underneath him. Freddy yells out in anger as Gibb's body vanishes, as he realises that she has died in the real world, robbing him of the chance to kill her in his dream world.
