Local stoner Freeburg(who bears an uncanny resemblance to Jay from Jay & Silent Bob), gets himself wasted while waiting for Lori and the others to find the Hypnocil dream repressing drugs at the hospital. This renders him unconscious and allows Freddy to invade his dreams.

Taking an entirely different approach from his usual manner of crafting his nightmare kills, Freddy starts this one up with 60's-era music and arrives in the form of a larval creature reminiscent to the bong-smoking caterpillar from Alice In Wonderland. Providing a large bong to complete the role, the Freddy-pillar blows a heavy cloud of marijuana smoke in Freeburg's face then departs. Freeburg is way too stoned to be thinking rationally at this point and follows, eager for more.

In the real world, Freddy has caused Freeburg to sleepwalk into the quarantine chamber, where various children have been placed in an induced coma and where, more importantly, the Hypnocil is kept. The comatose children awaken and tell Freeburg to dump them down the sink. Before Freeburg, who seems to have snapped out of his daze can protest, the Freddy-pillar descends from the ceiling and squeezes itself into Freeburg's mouth, allowing Freddy to possess his body and do the job himself.

Using Freeburg's body, Freddy dumps out the Hypnocil and loads up a pair of hypodermic needles with powerful tranquillizers used to keep the children in their comatose state. Freddy then has Freeburg go out into the hallway to meet Jason; his plan being to render Jason unconscious so that he may finish him off in a nightmare, where he figures Jason will stand no chance against him.

As Will, Lori, and the others are fleeing from Jason, Will comes back to get Freeburg to follow, he speaks in Freddy's voice to let him handle it. Will notices the tranquillizers and catches on, quickly stepping away. Right as Jason reaches him, Freddy has Freeburg pump Jason full of the tranquillizer. Before he goes down, though, Jason takes one last mighty swing with his machete and slices Freeburg into two bloody halves, killing him.

I think just Jason should be listed as the killer, rather than him and Freddy.

Psi, for when Freddy possesses him?

Yes, i think i agree - i confess it is not a film that i have seen, so i was not sure.

Kooshmeister - any objections to it just being assigned to Jason?

Hacked, for the machete swing that rips Freeburg in twain?
