Mrs. Kobritz is an elderly babysitter hired to watch Antonio Bay’s female radio host, Stevie Wayne's little boy Andy. Unfortunately, this particular night is the 100th anniversary of a terrible deed; six people betrayed a ship of lepers who were looking to land, causing them to crash to their death on the rocks of Antonio Bay.

Of course, like good vengeful zombies, they must now kill the descendents of the ones who double-crossed them, and this means Mrs. Kobritz. Stevie manages to tell Andy, via her radio station, to avoid the glowing fog, which symbolizes the zombies coming.

Andy and Mrs. Kobritz are busy locking up the house, when they hear a knock on the other door. Andy Wayne, like the moron he is, goes to see who is knocking, only to be shoo-ed back to his room by Mrs. Kobritz. Andy shuts himself in his room, but Mrs Kobritz is rather remiss and, with her back towards the open door, she is grabbed and dragged into the fog two zombies and hacked to death with a fisherman’s hook by another.

I think she was "hacked" as the hook was brought down on top of her

axe (for hacking) 112

well, i think it is hard to hack with a fisherman's hook so figured it makes more sense to have her stabbed to death with it.
