Klytus' death is preceded by a wonderfully camp whip duel between Flash and Prince Barin. The arena is a disc floating above a swirling void and for added amusement, Vultan, leader of the Hawk people, tilts the disc and causes spikes to rise up on the floor. He is particularly aggrieved when Flash wins but refuses to kill Barin, but all is well when Klytus arrives and is thrown onto the spikes by the two new friends. Klytus is obviously a being of some power, as his corpse disintegrates into a viscous liquid once he dies.
Memorable quote: (at Brian Blessed volume) "PASS ME THE REMOTE CONTROL!"

Klytus is thrown...

...onto some spikes

...and it is so painful, his eyes pop out.

Does this qualify klytus and General Kala as members of the undead?

I just saw this again today. Man, what was up with that dude's eyes? They get squeezed out of his head along with a bunch of hamburger. Just a little weird extra. I guess, to damage people like me who were kids when this came out!
