O'Hara the Western thug has been leading his gang of toughs round Hong Kong, terrorising the local population.
On this fateful day, Su Lin and her father are doing some shopping, when the gang decide they want some "sport" with her.
Now although Su Lin is tiny, and her father quite elderly, they are part of the "Lee" family and therefore have some skills. Father Lee moves to defend his daugher, and slashes O'Hara's face with a knife. This disfigures O'Hara for the rest of the film, and also seals Su Lin's fate (although even without this knifing, it is likely that she would have died anyway).

Surprisingly, Old Man Lee only receives a token beating for his temerity - the gang are far more interested in exacting revenge on Su Lin.

They duly chase her through the mean streets of Hong Kong, while she desperately tries to escape.
Her brother would have been proud of her as she does dish out an impressive amount of punishment on her tormentors, before sheer numbers and exhaustion force her to try and hide in an old shack.

The gang find her though, and she is soon surrounded, with no prospect of rescue.
Deciding that she'd rather die than be violated by O'Hara and the rest of his men, she picks up a large piece of glass, glares defiantly at O'Hara and plunges it into her midriff.


Not a nice way to die, clutching a viciously sharp glass shard and looking at O'Hara's ugly mug.

This defiant look at least shows that Su Lin dies in the certain knowledge that her brother will avenge her!
