Sarge has sent Cooper into the storm celler in the hope he would survive the imminent explosion Sarge is about to create and bring proof of the werewolf attack to the attention of the authorities. Sarge's daring move works and he manages to wipe out the werewolf pack by blowing up the house but the downside for Sarge is that the explosion wipes him out too.

Cooper extricates himself from the rubble and prepared to leave, but as he gets up he discovers several mutilated bodies hanging from the ceiling, and it becomes clear to him that this is the werewolves' lair!

He is suddenly attacked by a sole surviving werewolf. The sword sticking out of its chest makes it clear to Cooper who it is; Captain Ryan, the sadistic special forces unit who failed him in a training exercise when Cooper refused to kill an innocent dog in cold blood as a rather twisted test of loyalty.

Earlier in the film, Cooper and the others discovered Ryan alone and wounded in an outpost in the woods, ranting about a number of wild beasts that had taken out the rest of his men. Ryan revealed that his purpose for being there was to secretly capture the beast and return it for study, possibly to be used as a living weapon. Unbeknownst to the platoon, the beast was a werewolf and therefore the wound that Ryan had sustained from the attack has infected him with the werewolf curse, causing him to transform into one and he manages to escape, albeit with a sword stabbed in his chest (to uniquely identify him later on to the audience).

Cooper's not about to let Ryan get away this time. Taunting the massive beast that was his former commander, Cooper shows some seriously brassy balls standing up to a creature that is tossing him around like a rag doll. However, just as the werewolf nears a victory, irony intervenes when the dog Cooper and the others found at the house they fled to attacks the werewolf, tearing its arm open and distracting it long enough for Cooper to get out of its way. Finding a silver letter opener amongst the dead bodies the werewolves have harvested, Cooper plunges the blade into the werewolf's chest, wounding the beast enough to briefly paralyze it.

Taking these few seconds, Cooper grabs his gun, says a few parting words to Ryan with the barrel aimed between the werewolf's eyes, and pulls the trigger, sending blood everywhere and ending the Captain's life.

No archetype?

Submitted by me before they had the "archtype" selection setting tongue sticking out smiley

Yeah, but archtype should probably be added to it. Ambivilant (Major) or Baddy (Major)?

Hehehe, i have added the archetype to the death. Still it must be encouraging to know that none of your deaths have been forgotten!!
