Dr. Tynan is a South African Dentist cum diamond smuggler, extracting diamonds which the miners hide in their mouths during routine dental check ups. He meets up with his contact in the middle of the South African desert, and is rather surprised to see two camp gentlemen waiting for him; Mr Wynt (q.v.) and Mr Kidd (q.v.).
Upon handing over the diamonds to the pair, Mr Kidd holds his mouth in pain, and says that his wisdom teeth are sore. Dr Tynan, unusually for a dentist, decides to give him a free check up.

Mr Kidd enquires if he has a cavity that needs filling...
However, there is nothing wrong with Mr Kidd, he is just trying to distract the Doctor while Mr Wynt puts a scorpion down Dr Tynan's back. Dr Tynan is surprised at as the little arachnid wriggles around in his shirt, then he has a look of horror, yells out in pain and falls to the ground as it stings him to death.

Dr Tynan feels a sharp prick from behind....
Great stuff - completely unexpected and callous!
hey what the hells the matter with him?
it's my wisdom teeth i hadn't had them out yet.
would mind having a look Dr. Tynan?
yes open up Mr. Kidd.no no open wide.*Wint puts a scorpion down Tynan's shirt*Argh!
curious how everyone who touches those diamonds will seem to have died.
What about betrayal? I'm pretty sure dying was not part of the dentists agreement.
hmm, betrayal for me is more when a friend reneges on a pact/deal. Dr Tynan was never closely associated with Mr Wynt and Mr Kidd, so i dont think that we can class it as a betrayal.
What do others think??

"Bitten by the bug!"
As campy as those two are, Wynt and Kidd are still truely sadistic villains and this scene here proves they're not to be taken lightly. It's gotta be scary as hell for someone to drop a highly poisonous bug down your shirt.
