After El Mariachi meets up with Buscemi in the church, Buscemi is ready to walk away from the whole revenge deal with Bucho. El Mariachi tells Buscemi that Bucho is the last one to die, but he isn't buying it. Navajas shows up further down the block just as Buscemi says "it's going to be over now." These prophetic words seal his fate, as Navajas throws a knife into his chest, killing him instantly.
