After the deaths of his two friends, Campa and Quino, he and his girl Carolina then go to Bucho's compound to confront him. Unfortunately, every surviving henchman has their guns pointed at El Mariachi. Bucho then realizes that he has been trying to kill his brother and after a long lecture on how El Mariachi has already killed him, decided to shoot Carolina to make them even. El Mariachi then pulls two concealed guns from the sleeves of his jackets and fires like crazy. The screen goes white and you're left wondering whether or not he killed everyone else.
