In the final moments of the film, Michael (Robert DeNiro) searches for Nick (Walken) in Saigon. He finds Nick crazed over the game of Russian Roulette and is forced to play against Nick. Unfortunately, Nick's luck runs out and ends up shooting himself in the head. The movie ends with his funeral in a very powerful scene where all the characters are united by his death and sing "God Bless America" in his honour. Very powerful moment.
