After a brief fight with Daredevil under the impression he was the one who killed her father, Elektra unmasks the blind vigilante and discovers he is none other then Matt Murdock, whom she had been in love with. At this moment, Kingpin's personal hitman, Bullseye arrives to add Elektra to his body count.
Matt tries to get Elektra to leave, but Elektra, thirsty for revenge upon realizing Bullseye is the true culprit and Matt in no shape to stand up to the assassin, leaves to face him.
"Hey, orphan, let's play!" Bullseye taunts, as Elektra prepares to fight. Elektra starts it off by throwing one of her Sai daggers at Bullseye, but he catches it with ease and flings it back at her. Elektra is not as good at catching flying weapons as he is, as Bullseye has sent the dagger right through her hand.
After Elektra manages to pull out the dagger, and realizing ranged combat is probably not a good idea with an assassin whose specialty is projectile weaponry, makes a change of strategy and leaps up to the building top Bullseye is waiting on and engages him in close combat.
Elektra manages to stand her own for a little while, but Bullseye is still too strong for her, blocking her attacks and disorienting her by slapping her across the face with his long coat, Bullseye eventually gains a full advantage when he grabs Elektra's hand and hits her repeatedly, then throws her down on the ground, cart-wheeling off her body just for good measure.
"You're good, babe. But me? I'm magic!" Bullseye declares, producing a razor-tipped throwing card from his sleeve and throwing it at Elektra's neck. He then grabs her by the neck and lifts her off the ground. "And now for my next trick..." He states, pulling up the Sai dagger, the same one he'd thrown at Elektra earlier...
Daredevil can only watch in horror as Bullseye proceeds to impale Elektra through the heart with the dagger and toss her body down to the building top Daredevil is on. With the police arriving, Bullseye throws a red rose, the Kingpin's calling card, down at Elektra before he departs.
Elektra, barely alive, crawls over to Daredevil and collapses in his arms. Daredevil is left to mourn as his superhuman hearing allows him to listen to her heartbeat slow down to a stop and she dies.
Falling?
Two points here...
One: The fights is much longer in the Director's Cut, including harder blows to Elektra. When Bullseye stabs her with her sai, he kisses her before throwing her.
Two: Ressurection, as Elektra is brought back from death by the powers of General Zod, I mean Terrence Stamp in spin-off Elektra.
In addition to the above, Slashed needs to be added for the playing card.
