Written by Mad Movie MathewRoyko is a member of Frank's ex-military group, trying to get Frank back. They have found a small shelter which they correctly presume Frank and his captors are staying in. Turner orders Royko to go around the back and wait for the signal to attack.

Turner tries to negotiate to get Frank back. "Give us Carden, we'll leave you alone!" he assures. Nothing. Turner cocks his gun. "Last chance!"

Ray is unsure of what to do. He turns to sympathetic hitman Frank for advice.
"If it's just you, Ray, hell, it's your choice," Frank reminds him. "But it's your son. And a woman. Look, you don't have to prove anything. You've already done that. I'm convinced."

Ray turns to his son, Chris. He then makes his choice: he gives Frank the keys to his handcuffs. Royko continues to sneak up on the premises. Frank frees himself when suddenly the door bursts open. Despite Frank's objections, Royko strikes Chris causing Ray to ram Royko back out the door and off the porch. Ray viciously and repeatedly strikes with his fists Royko in the face, pounding him to death.
