Having been a member of the party responsible for kidnapping Matrix's little daughter, cocky ladies man Sully is finally caught by Matrix. The audience gets an early glimpse of Matrix's strength when he dangles Sully over a cliff with his weak arm.

Sully is not being very forthcoming with any information, which is ridiculous considering the predicament he is in. However, he does tell Matrix that Cooke (q.v.) knows where his daughter is being kept and if Matrix does not kill him, Sully will take Matrix to meet Cooke.

Unfortunately for Sully he left a key to the motel he was meeting Cooke at in the car and Matrix has already found it.

Matrix promised to kill Sully last; He lied!

Matrix's moral code is Sully-ed when he goes back on his promise. Also, have you noticed that the road down below has disappeared between shots..

When Cindy asks Matrix what he did with Sully, Matrix cooly replies "I let him go." - marvellous

Poor Sully. I personally was always unnerved by his death. Diaz was begging to be shot, Henriques had to die so Matrix could get off the plane undetected, and at least he killed Cooke, Arius and Bennett in the heat of battle. Sully, though, was helpless. Not only was he much smaller than Matrix he was being dangled over a cliff, and Matrix mercilessly drops him to his doom. It just makes Matrix look like a cruel bully.

Incidentally, if you look closely just before Matrix holds Sully out into the air, as he's carrying him over, you can see the cable obviously attached to David Patrick Kelly's ankle. XD

Yes, i see what you mean, but in fairness to Matrix, he could not let him live as Sully would have rushed and informed Arius that Matrix escaped, which would have led no doubt to his daughter being killed.

Nice bit of trivia there though, i will have to freeze it. I am sure you are all aware that the seriously dented up Porsche has remarkably mended itself by the time Matrix gets in it to drive off and meet Cookegrinning smiley
