Henriques is one of Arius's men, which means the moment he is introduced, you just know that Matrix is going to kill him. His life expectancy is cut dramatically short when Bennett instructs him to accompany Matrix to Val Verde to make sure he completes his mission to assassinate its president.
As soon as they are on board the plane, Matrix asks a stewardess for a blanket and a pillow. Henriques rather stupidly decides to take the window seat. When the stewardess returns with Matrix's requested pillow and blanket, he waits until she is gone and then stuns Henriques by elbowing him and slamming him into the window. Now, Henriques, we are led to believe, is an experienced soldier but he is caught completely unaware by this manoeuvre and knocked out. Thinking this is insufficient punishment for the kidnapping of his little girl, Matrix then snaps his neck. The death is over in seconds and no one else on the plane notices anything is amiss.
Matrix then puts the pillow behind Henriques' head and covers him with the blanket, pulling his hat down over his face to make it seem as though he is merely sleeping. Prior to excusing himself to "use the bathroom," Matrix explains to the stewardess, "Don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired."
Should this still be "One on One"?
I don't think so. They don't actually fight. Matrix simply catches him off guard and kills him without a struggle.
It's literally...
- Matrix whacks him with his forearm.
- Breaks his neck.
- Quip.
At no point does Henriques fight. BTW, I'm surprised no one noticed that there was a dead body. I mean the stench would have... Never mind. This is the Commando universe, where getting electricuted makes you stronger...
I swear I've been pissing myself reading these death sequences written by Kooshmeister. I've passed this on to many of my friends who all agree that Koosh is brilliant.
