Kynette is another of Eric Qualen's (q.v.) trigger-happy minions. His death comes when he descends into a pothole in order to keep the local mountaineer and all around good guy, Gabe Walker, occupied while Qualen rigs a bridge to explode, preventing Gabe from following him and his gang. Gabe and Jessie have taken an underground "shortcut" in order to keep pace with Qualen's party.

Deep in the mountain, Kynette initially has Gabe at his mercy when Gabe emerges from a hole in the ground and Kynette is waiting for him. He demands to know where the money from the second suitcase, which Gabe burned, is. Gabe feigns cooperation, in order to buy some time and then, when the opportunity presents itself, Gabe swings his climber's pickaxe and hits Kynette in the shin with it. Kynette screams in pain at the agony, and this allows Gabe the time to drops back down deeper into the cave.

Kynette pulls himself together shortly after and follows Gabe. Jessie attacks him and despite being surprised and kicked in the face by her, Kynette has the strength to easily overpower her before he turns his attention to an exhausted Gabe. He proceeds to pummel the crap out of poor Gabe, all the while trying to get him to give up the location of the money. Gabe's constant replies that he burned it do not satisfy Kynette, who forces Gabe to his knees and pulls a knife, preparing to slit his throat.

We then get a slightly implausible bit of energy from Rocky - erm, I mean Gabe - who responds by grabbing Kynette's family jewels, crushing them, then grabbing him by the front of his shirt and lifting Kynette bodily over himself. As if this were not enough to incapacitate Kynette, Gabe then thrusts him upwards, onto an unusually sharp but very convenient stalactite, which kills him. The look on the unfortunate henchman's face as he is being impaled is priceless.
