Having been killed by Dracula nights before, Lucy is buried in the family’s creepy mausoleum. Van Helsing insists that Lucy is not dead, and they need to visit her tomb in order to free her from the curse. The other companions look at him like his is some form of loon. However, they agree to humour him and so that very night, Van Helsing brings Arthur, Seward, and Quincy with him to Lucy's crypt, but to all of their amazement, they find her coffin empty. It is not long until Lucy, who is now a vampire, descends the stairs behind them, carrying a small child she has kidnapped.

Our heroes manage to save the child from her, but still have a dangerous and active vampire left to destroy. Lucy has a few tricks up her undead sleeve, though. Locking eyes with Arthur, Lucy hypnotizes him with her vampiric gaze, causing Arthur to fall into a blissful state; unaware of the danger he is in as Lucy prepares to bite him, the others too horrified to make a move.

Then Van Helsing takes action. Thrusting a crucifix in Lucy's face, Van Helsing recites a warding phrase that forces the vampire into her coffin (but not without Lucy spewing a tremendous amount of blood in his face for a cheap laugh). Unwavering, Van Helsing holds strong to his faith and Lucy is briefly rendered into a forced sleep.

Van Helsing, knowing the only way to free Lucy's soul now is to kill the monster she has become, instructs Arthur to stake her. With that, Arthur takes the stake Van Helsing provides him, and hammers it into the vampire's chest. The heart is destroyed but the vampire is still not completely dead; Van Helsing then finishes the job once and for all by slicing her head off with his sword.
