Picot is a very minor villain. He is the large, bald French Treadstone agent that guards the stairwell as Conklin clears up and moves Treadstone. After Bourne notices that Conklin's radio is turned on, he moves towards the door leading to the staircase. Picot bursts open the door, but Bourne kicks it back, repeatedly hitting and crushing Picot's arms in the door. Picot manages to squeeze through and they grapple. Bourne shoots Picot and disarms him. Bourne grabs Picot's gun and fires it into Picot's knee before kicking him in the face and bringing him to the floor.
After Bourne takes out another henchman, Picot gets up and strikes Bourne twice, causing him to drop the gun. Bourne turns around and headbutts him, kicks him in the knee, pistol whips him across the face twice, follows up with an elbow and forces him into the railing.
When a second henchman races up to get Bourne after firing wilding upwards, Bourne improvises and kicks Picot's body out of the banister, using it as a way to fly down the stairwell, improbably shoot the new henchman in the head and finally uses the large Frenchman as a blubberous cushion for the landing.
Comments:
Picot is named in Doug Liman's audio commentary on the very first DVD release. Note that Martial Arts does not apply here, as it certainly isn't graceful: the fighting is more Glasgow than Tokyo.
Nice!
