The final battle in Blade Trinity is as intense and action-packed as the ones in the previous films. This time, Blade does battle with the first vampire, Dracula(aka "Drake") himself.
Drake, a vampire of tradition, is not without a sense of honour and even seems to hold a level of respect for Blade. As a result, he challenges Blade a swordfight as their final battle.
"Are you ready to die?" Drake asks Blade, his sword drawn.
"I was born ready, Motherfucker." Blade answers, his quip even amusing Drake.
Drake starts off the fight by charging at Blade, who counters his blow. Throwing off his coat, Blade then gets serious and the battle truly begins.
The two seem very evenly matched. Blade is highly skilled and has a vampire's speed and reflexes. Drake has age and experience on his side. After a couple of exchanges, Blade gets the upper hand, sending Drake flying through some windows and into a wall. The vampire lord responds by grabbing the wall and he propels himself back towards Blade. Grabbing hold of the vampire hunter, Drake leaps off the edge of the platform they were duelling on and slams him into the ground.
At this point, Drake shapeshifts into his true form; a hideous, ancient demon named Dagon. With its rows of shark-like teeth, its razor-tipped tongue, and its tremendous strength, Blade appears to be completely outmatched now, as he pummeled tossed around the room and none of his blows even seem to make the creature flinch.
Tiring of the sport, Dagon picks up his sword, which he'd dropped during his fight with Blade, and approaches, ready to finish him off. "Ready to die, *Motherfucker?*" The monster quips, amused that Blade has been rendered completely at his mercy and he prepares to go for the killing blow.
Typically, over-confidence is the undoing of this unholy aberration of CGI nature. Abby Whistler, a fellow vampire hunter who has accompanied Blade, intervenes by firing an arrow equipped with a powerful virus created by her organisation, that it is hoped, will destroy all the vampires if it is enhanced by Dagon's blood. Dagon hearing it break through the glass behind him, catches the arrow and throws it aside, returning his attention back to Blade.
Abby then takes advantage of that there no longer any window to break to alarm Dagon, Abby fires a second (normal) arrow to distract him long enough for Blade to grab the fallen capsule and stab the monster in the chest with it. When he does, the capsule breaks and fills Dagon's insides with the viral fluid.
Rearing back in pain as the virus consumes his insides, Dagon vomits up a spray of infected blood, which sends the virus into the air, allowing it to mutate into an efficient form that will eliminate all the vampires.
Moments later, Dagon reverts back to 'Drake' form as he slowly dies. Blade seems to also be dying from the virus as well (due to his vampiric heritage), but Drake is certain the hybrid won't. After congratulating Blade on his victory, he muses how the vampires had been trying so hard to create a new perfect race of their kind, when they already had Blade. With the last bit of life left in him, Drake warns Blade that sooner or later, however, the thirst always wins.
Hey, MB! How are you? Long time no see.
We need Transformation here, as Drake turns into a giant monster.
heh, i am not bad thanks Matt, i have been a bit distracted by the biggest time burglar of them all, the girlfriend!!!
Transformation is not something that kills though, is it? although i can picture an Optimus Prime icon for the category, should the MDDB public deem it is worthy of being classed.
It is already a category, mate.
