Kindly submitted by Kooshmeister
Bob is the Joker's quiet, loyal henchman, and throughout the film has unquestioningly obeyed whatever order the Joker gives him. When Batman foils the Joker's nefarious scheme to poison Gotham City with Smylex gas from parade balloons, the Joker needs someone to take out his frustration on, and poor Bob is the only person handy at the time.
"Bob? Gun," the Joker says, motioning with his hand. Obediently, Bob takes out his pistol and hands it to the Joker, who immediately shoots Bob with it. Bob flies back out of frame, and the Joker hands the gun to another henchman, explaining, "I'm gonna need a minute or two alone, boys."
Bob seemed to be pretty close friends with the Joker before the betrayal ("Former Friends").
For a simple shooting, that score is huge, and I have no idea why. It's a quite simple death and not all that original.
Kooshmeister just tends to give things high ratings, his lowest ratings usually being fodder. Note that I only gave Scarface, one of the most famous and recognizable death scenes around an 85%, while it got beat out by an entire page full of Kooshmeister's (Geochemistry's?) obscure characters.
Still, in my opinion, what prompted him to give this rating is the entire nonchalance of Jack killing a good friend and top henchman.
This is much more deserving given the uniqueness, but who am I to judge.

This death's a little humourous, but nowhere worth 95%. More like 51%, maybe.
By contrast, my recently submitted deaths for X-Men series must be quite harsh regarding ratings.

I wasn't aware my penchant for submitting obscure deaths was a problem. But if it bothers you, feel free to lower the ratings on some of the more commonplace ones. I deliberately avoid doing more well-known deaths most of the time, because I know someone else will eventually do them. No one else seems likely to do writeups of most of the other deaths I've done, however.

Precisely. I'm normally not terribly fond of "villain shooting his henchmen" scenes, but Bob's demise is one of the few I liked so I ranked it fairly high. As for Rotelli's death, aside from the interesting way in which he dies I was never impressed with the lead-up to his death. I think what killed Rotelli's death scene for me was the nonreaction of the other gangsters. Maybe it's supposed to make them look cold and heartless, but c'mon. I'd buy their mere raised eyebrows if the Joker had simply shot Rotelli, but frying the guy alive with an electric joybuzzer demands a bit more reaction from those assembled.
Still, I think the real reason it's only rated 50% is due to my forgetfulness; 50% is the default setting and I just forgot to rank it higher, the same with a couple of other deaths I've submitted (such as Dr. Landers for instance).
Of course it isn't. I just submitted a death for a 2 minute character in X-Men (the Senator's aide), with a very low 2% rating because it so blink 'n' you'll miss it.
More like "make noise and you'll miss it," as Henry is never actually killed onscreen but instead is revealed to have been dead all along, and there's a brief mention of the discovery of his corpse at the end.
Hehe. Yeah, I did put that bit at the end in my write-up.
I hope to see my updates up soon, some of mine I thought were really quite funny (particiularly a few in regards to X3).
