Written by Mad Movie MathewOne of the Deputies working for Marshal Will Doane, Sam is apparently one of Marshal's best men - but that doesn't stop him from having the smallest amount of screen time, nor does it stop him following the Marshal's lead when the odds against them become too great.

Taking out their guns, Sam, Will, and the other deputy, Harvey, go outside. They walk out onto the porch of the bar and lay down their guns. Wade's gang don't play by the rules of honour and the trio are soon mercilessly fired upon.
