Written by KooshmeisterSam is a survivor of the surgent Rage virus plague, travelling with Scarlet, Doyle and the two Harris children to Regents Park, presumably to be picked up by chopper pilot Flynn. Unfortunately for all concerned, however, Flynn refuses to let the four civilians on board, due to General Stone's order to exterminate them as well as the Infected.

Speaking of which, as Flynn and Doyle argue, a horde of the Infected appear in the distance and start towards the group. Sam panics and, despite the cries of the others not to, runs and makes a wild, desperate leap onto the helicopter. Flynn begins trying to shake him loose, and thus veers out of control away from the survivors and towards the Infected, with poor Sam hanging on to the runner for dear life.

Managing to right the helicopter, Flynn dips it forwards as he flies towards the Infected, using the rotor blades to slice and dice the diseased killers, apparently with little regard for Sam who is splattered with guts and gore. Remarkably, he does immediately become one of the Infected; he continues yelling in his own voice, rather than the snarl that is the trademark of the Infected. But as Flynn flies away from the scene (and Doyle, Scarlet and the children flee in the opposite direction), poor Sam is finally shaken loose and plummets with a scream towards the earth, and his apparent demise.
